Beschreibung

2,3,4-Trimethoxyphenylboronic acid is a boronic acid that is used in the synthesis of podophyllotoxin. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of MCF-7 cells by blocking fatty acid metabolism and the production of cytotoxic compounds. 2,3,4-Trimethoxyphenylboronic acid has also been shown to have significant antiproliferative activity and inhibitory effect on mammalian cells. This compound is synthesized from an alkene and a carboxylic acid.
