Beschreibung:Thietan-3-ylamineHydrobromide is a novel anti-tumor compound. It has a potent inhibitory effect on the proliferation of human tumor cells in vitro. The IC 50 values for inhibition of proliferation are in the range of 0.1 to 1 μM, which is better than that of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). Thietan-3-ylamineHydrobromide has a strong ability to inhibit the growth of tumors in vivo. The anti-tumor efficacy was evaluated by measuring tumor weights, tumor volumes and number of live animals at different time points after treatment. Tumors were also assessed histologically by hematoxylin and eosin staining.
