Beschreibung

4,5,6,7-Tetrahydro-thiazolo[5,4-c]pyridine hydrochloridesalt is a potent inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit the production of thrombin and activated coagulation. It also inhibits the synthesis of fibrinogen and prothrombin by inhibiting the enzyme thrombin. The inhibition of these enzymes leads to a decreased risk of heart attack or stroke. 4,5,6,7-Tetrahydro-thiazolo[5,4-c]pyridine hydrochloridesalt is also used for the prevention of blood clots in patients with deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism. This drug is absorbed well from the stomach and intestines and enters the bloodstream via an active transport mechanism.
