Beschreibung

Tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite is a synthetic compound that has been used as a fire retardant in polyvinyl chloride and in the manufacture of sodium carbonate. It is also used as an inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase, which is an enzyme responsible for breaking down acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter. Tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite has been found to be stable at high temperatures and does not produce any byproducts during its chemical reactions. Tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite can be synthesized from calcium stearate and sodium carbonate in the presence of aliphatic hydrocarbons. Tris(nonylphenyl) phosphite has been shown to have a liquid crystal phase with geometric isomers, but it does not have a particular morphology.
