Produktinformation
THIQ is a compound class that has been shown to inhibit the mitochondrial membrane potential in neuro2a cells, which leads to cell death. THIQ also has been shown to be an inhibitor of the enzyme ATP synthase and other enzymes, such as pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase and phosphofructokinase. This inhibition is due to steric interactions with the active site of the enzyme, which prevents substrate binding. THIQ has been shown in vivo to suppress prostate cancer growth and may also have anti-inflammatory properties. The pharmacokinetic properties of THIQ are not well understood at this time, but it has been shown to be effective for treating infectious diseases.
