Tetramethyltin (TMT) is a model system that has been used to study the reactivity of hydrogen fluoride with sodium carbonate. This reaction has been studied using fluorescence spectrometry in order to determine the high values for analytical methods. Tetramethyltin is also known to inhibit replication by inhibiting the activity of RNA-dependent DNA polymerase, which is required for DNA synthesis. The kinetic energy of this compound is also known as group p2, and kinetic data has been obtained on this compound.
