Produktinformation
O-Tert-butylhydroxylamine hydrochloride (OTBHA) is a chemical that can be used for the asymmetric synthesis of α-pinene. OTBHA is an amido derivative and contains nitrogen atoms. It is a geometric isomer of O,O'-dibenzoylhydroxylamine, which contains two benzoyl groups. OTBHA has been shown to be an antidiabetic agent. It also inhibits matrix metalloproteinase activity, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the release of oxygenated free radicals from mitochondria in the pancreas. OTBHA reacts with organic nitrates in order to produce reaction products.
