Beschreibung

Triclopyr-butotyl is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of pesticides and has been shown to have high cytotoxicity. It has been used as an herbicide, an insecticide, and a rodenticide. Triclopyr-butotyl can be detected in the blood of animals and humans at concentrations that are detectable only by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). The compound has been shown to interact with glyphosate when applied together. The interaction is due to the fact that both compounds are transported through the body via the same transporters. Triclopyr-butotyl also interacts with picolinic acid, which is a metabolite of tryptophan. This interaction may lead to increased cholesterol levels or glucose in urine samples.
