Beschreibung

Tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)isocyanurate is a thermal stabilizer that is used in polypropylene. It reacts with amines to form a stable quaternary compound and prevents the formation of carbonyl groups. Tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)isocyanurate is also an antioxidant that can be used to prevent fatty acid oxidation and thermal degradation of polymers. This chemical is also used as a matrix effect modifier in analytical chemistry to improve the resolution between closely related compounds. In addition, it can be used for sample preparation by removing damaged samples or as an inert filler for gas chromatography.
