2-(Trifluoromethyl)trifluorooxirane is a chemical that has a high degree of chemical stability, which makes it suitable for use as a fumigant. It is an alkylating agent that binds to the fatty acid receptor and activates it. 2-(Trifluoromethyl)trifluorooxirane also has the ability to activate receptors by binding to hydroxyl groups on proteins.
