Beschreibung

Triisopropyl borate is a chemical compound that has been shown to have a high degree of chemical stability. It can be used in the synthesis of fatty acids because it does not react with the double bonds. Triisopropyl borate was first synthesized in 1951 and was found to have an x-ray crystal structure in 1956. The light emission from the substance is due to its ability to absorb ultraviolet light, which reacts with phosphorus pentoxide (P2O5) and produces phosphine gas. In congestive heart failure, triisopropyl borate can improve myocardial function by inhibiting the proliferation of fibrous tissue and reducing oxidative stress. The hydroxyl group on triisopropyl borate binds to potassium dichromate (K2Cr2O7) and nitrogen atoms, while hydrogen fluoride (HF) binds to metal ions such as ferrous ion (Fe2+).
