Beschreibung

L-Thiazolidin-2-one-4-carboxylic acid is a model system for the study of dna binding activity and has been shown to inhibit leukemia inhibitory factor and IL-2 receptor. It is also a polymerase chain inhibitor that inhibits glutathione synthesis. L-Thiazolidin-2-one-4-carboxylic acid has been shown to have long term toxicity in rodents, as well as analytical methods that are used to study its toxicity. This compound has been found to be toxicologically safe in animal studies, but there are no clinical pathology or physiological effects data available for humans.
