Tributyl(1-ethoxyvinyl)tin
CAS:
Ref. 3D-FT57885

Produktinformation
Tributyltin is an organotin compound that has low bioavailability because of its high lipophilicity. It is used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals. Tributyltin is a nitrogen-containing chemical that inhibits Cox-2, which may be the reason for its anti-inflammatory effects. Tributyltin also binds to toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4), thereby inhibiting downstream inflammatory signaling pathways. Tributyl(1-ethoxyvinyl)tin can be synthesized by a palladium-catalyzed coupling reaction between an alkyl halide and an alkynyl tin reagent. This process produces a mixture of regioisomers, which can be separated using chromatography. In human liver cells, tributyltin is metabolized primarily by conjugation with glucuronides or sulfates followed by excretion in the urine or feces.
