Produktinformation
Tetramethylammonium dichloroiodate (TMADCI) is a c1-c4 haloalkyl that has been shown to have anticancer activity in human cancer cells. TMADCI binds to the chloride ion, which is an essential cofactor for the enzyme chloride channel, inhibiting its function and leading to chloride accumulation in the cell. This accumulation of chloride ions leads to inhibition of cancer cell growth and apoptotic cell death. TMADCI also inhibits adrenergic receptors, which may lead to increased blood pressure.
