Beschreibung

N-[2-(Trimethylsilyl)ethoxycarbonyloxy]succinimide is an inhibitor of the enzyme l-amino acid oxidase. It has been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation and to increase the lifespan of red blood cells in vitro. N-[2-(Trimethylsilyl)ethoxycarbonyloxy]succinimide has been studied for use as an anticoagulant, but it has not been approved for this use. This drug is also being investigated for its ability to inhibit cancer cell growth and to treat chronic kidney disease.
