Beschreibung:Trimethylsilylmethanethiol (TMSET) is a thiol that is used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It is soluble in water and it has a high boiling point, making it useful for reactions that require heat. TMSET has been shown to be an effective antiviral agent against hepatitis C virus (HCV) and influenza A virus by binding to the viral receptor on the cell surface and preventing its entry into the cell.
