Beschreibung:
1-tert-butylpiperazine is a piperazine derivative that has been shown to be useful for the treatment of melanomas. It has been shown to be an effective chemotherapeutic agent against cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. This drug binds to DNA by covalent alkylation and inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting DNA synthesis. 1-tert-butylpiperazine also interacts with amines, which may lead to its effectiveness as a chemotherapeutic agent. It is thought that this drug works by binding to a pharmacophore site on the tumor cell surface, which leads to its cytotoxicity.
1-tert-butylpiperazine is synthesized using a directional approach, which allows it to be more selective than other chemotherapeutics currently available.
