It also has high values for activity index and water vapor pressure. TBPCl is used to treat metabolic disorders, such as diabetes mellitus type II, by stimulating insulin secretion from the pancreas. This drug also inhibits the release of glucose into the bloodstream by blocking potassium channels located in pancreatic beta cells.
