Beschreibung:
Tetrafluoroisophthalic acid is a monosodium salt with the chemical formula Na2[P(SiF4)4]. Tetrafluoroisophthalic acid has been shown to have the ability to bind metal ions in solution. The binding of metal ions inhibits the growth rate of microorganisms, but does not inhibit their optical microscopy or expressed nucleotide sequence. Tetrafluoroisophthalic acid also has high solubility in water and can be easily purified using crystallization. It is an efficient method for synthesizing polymers with desired molecular weights and crystalline structures.
