Beschreibung

Tetraethylammonium trifluoroacetate (TEA-TFAA) is an organic solvent that is used as a patterning agent in electron microscopy. It can be used to create patterns of particles and solids on surfaces for use in catalytic reactions. TEA-TFAA is a fluorine-containing compound that is used as a solid catalyst in the cathodic carboxylation of ethylene with carbon monoxide. The rate of reaction between these two compounds increases with increasing temperature, which causes the second-order rate constant to increase linearly. Tetraethylammonium trifluoroacetate can be used as a structural formula to represent the chemical structure of TEA-TFAA in molecules.
