Beschreibung

7-(Trifluorophenyl)quinolin-4-ol is a quinoline derivative with a fluorine atom at the 7 position. FTIR spectroscopy revealed that the compound has strong absorption bands at 2900 cm-1, 1750 cm-1, and 1660 cm-1. The IR spectrum of this compound was consistent with that of chloroform and dimethylformamide. The emission spectrum of this compound exhibited fluorescence in the range of 500 nm to 600 nm. Elemental analysis revealed that 7-(Trifluorophenyl)quinolin-4-ol is an organic solvent and is soluble in water.
