Beschreibung:1-Undecanethiol is a carboxylic acid that inhibits the cell cycle and induces cell death in cancer cells. It is a potent inhibitor of cell growth and prevents protein synthesis. 1-Undecanethiol has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of breast cancer cells in cell culture. This compound also induces apoptosis by binding to the protein p53, which stabilizes it and reduces its ability to bind to DNA, preventing transcriptional activation of various genes that are involved in apoptosis.
