Beschreibung

Undecafluoro(2-iodoethyl)cyclohexane is a perfluorinated, polyfluoroalkyl, synthetic compound. It can be used to modify the properties of other molecules by quaternization and nucleophilic substitution reactions. This modification can change the morphology of the molecule, as well as its uptake and metabolism. Undecafluoro(2-iodoethyl)cyclohexane is synthesized by reacting butyllithium with monomers in the presence of a catalyst, such as tungsten hexachloride.
