Beschreibung

Vanillylacetone is a natural compound that belongs to the group of phenolic compounds. It is an inhibitor of the enzyme cyclase, which is involved in the biosynthesis of fatty acids and sterols. Vanillylacetone has been shown to have anti-tumor effects in mice with induced tumors. It also inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, and protozoa by inhibiting DNA synthesis.
