• Beschreibung: XtalFluor-M is a fluorinated analog of the hydroxyl group that is used in the synthesis of organic compounds. It has been shown to have proapoptotic activity, which is thought to be due to its ability to react with hydroxyl groups on proteins and nucleic acids. XtalFluor-M also inhibits serine proteases and has a functional theory for its inhibitory effect. The reaction rate of XtalFluor-M is dependent on the type of sulfonic acid present in the reaction. This product also contains a trifluoromethyl group that can be iodinated by an iodination reaction.
