Beschreibung

Glycine 7-amido-4-methylcoumarin hydrobromide is a chromogenic substrate that can be used for the detection of alkaline phosphatase. It reacts with the enzyme to produce a blue color, which can be measured spectrophotometrically. The product is also used as a ligand in cell culture media and as a diagnostic agent in environmental testing. It has been shown to be an excellent substrate for chemiluminescence reactions with luminol and luciferin, and bioluminescence reactions with luciferase.
