Beschreibung:1-Phenylbut-3-en-1-one is an alkylthio group that is a polymer film with a diameter of 2.5 μm and has been shown to be effective as a choroidal neovascularization inhibitor. It can inhibit the development of new blood vessels in the eye by cross-linking the collagen fibers and inhibiting their growth. 1-Phenylbut-3-en-1-one has also been shown to have an inhibitory effect on inflammatory diseases, such as arthritis, and can be used for treatment of these conditions. The hydroxy group and alkynyl groups in this molecule are responsible for its antiinflammatory properties.
