Beschreibung:2-(9H-Carbazol-1-yl)acetic acid (2CBA) is a fluorescent derivative that can be used as an analytical method for the determination of reaction intermediates in human serum. The fluorescence detector is on-line and it can be used to measure the kinetic of fluorescence emission. 2CBA has been used to study the environmental exposure of pharmaceutical drugs and the effect on nanomaterials in wastewater treatment. It has also been shown to have radiation cleavage properties, which makes it useful for determining whether a sample contains radioactive materials.
