Beschreibung:VLX1570 is a regulatory protein that is expressed in the cytoplasm of cells and has been shown to inhibit human protein synthesis. It binds to the ribosome, inhibiting translation of mRNA into protein. VLX1570 may also function as an apoptosis-inducing factor by binding to mitochondrial functions. VLX1570 has been shown to have biological properties in myeloma cell lines and prostate cancer cells, as well as in biological samples from humans with granulosa cell tumors or prostate cancer cells. VLX1570 can be used for the treatment of these diseases, but it is not yet approved by the FDA.
