(2-methoxy-5-methylphenyl)methanol is a compound that interacts with the 5-HT1A receptor, which is a subtype of serotonin receptor. It has been shown to have an affinity for the 5-HT1A receptor and can be used as a 5-HT1A receptor antagonist. The compound has been shown to inhibit adenylyl cyclase activity and also interact with this enzyme.
