Beschreibung

1-(Pyridin-3-ylmethyl)hydrazine is a chemotherapy drug that has been shown to inhibit the growth of human cancer cells in vitro. It is a potent inhibitor of the epidermal growth factor receptor and human immunoglobulin, which may be due to its ability to bind to lysine residues on these proteins. 1-(Pyridin-3-ylmethyl)hydrazine has also been shown to have inhibitory effects on various cancer cell lines in vivo. The uptake of this drug by the tumor cells can be detected using technetium as a radioactive marker and histochemical staining for lysine residues. Human serum contains antibodies against 1-(pyridin-3-ylmethyl)hydrazine, which may limit its effectiveness in humans.
