Beschreibung

'-Tridecanolactone is a macrocyclic diterpene that exhibits potent anticancer activity. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of ascites tumor cells in mice by inducing apoptosis through the generation of reactive oxygen species and lipid peroxidation. '-Tricyclane also has anti-inflammatory effects, which may be due to its inhibition of alcohol metabolism and production of reactive oxygen species.
