Quinolin-3-ylmethanamine is a quinoline derivative that has been shown to have potent inhibitory activity against dpp-4. This drug is also a serotonin receptor antagonist and an antidiabetic. Quinolin-3-ylmethanamine has been shown to be a 5-ht2c receptor antagonist, which may contribute to its pharmacokinetic properties. The molecule is hydrogenated and the pharmacokinetic study was performed in f344 rats.
