Beschreibung

Isobutyl angelate is a hydroxy acid that has a very acidic pH. It is used as an ingredient in soaps, moisturizers, and other products for the skin. Isobutyl angelate also has anti-inflammatory properties that help prevent the development of acne and other skin conditions. It is structurally similar to geranyl acetate, which may account for its antimicrobial activity against staphylococcus bacteria. Isobutyl angelate can also be found in plants such as Aurantifolia and Vulgare L.
