Copper(II) fluoride trihydrate is a soluble, inorganic compound that is used as an experimental reagent. It can be prepared by hydrolyzing copper(II) acetate and fluorine gas. It has been used to synthesize novel fluoroalkyl diazonium salts with palladium as the catalyst. Fluoroalkyl diazonium salts have been shown to react with aldehydes to form acetaldoxime derivatives. The chemical formula of Copper(II) fluoride trihydrate is CuF3H2O6.
