Beschreibung:Seleninyl chloride is a chemical compound that contains a selenium atom and chloride ion. The compound is used to synthesize organic compounds containing the selenium-carbon bond, such as cyclin D2. Seleninyl chloride reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce selenium dioxide, which has been shown to have immunomodulatory effects. Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) has been used to identify the structural analysis of the reaction products of this compound. MRS can also be used to observe low-energy magnetic fields in water vapor and measure thermal expansion during reactions. Seleninyl chloride is not a reactive intermediate, but it does undergo a reaction with water vapor at high temperatures.
