2-Hydrazinylacetic acid hydrochloride is a nitro compound that is used as an intermediate in organic synthesis and as a pharmaceutical agent. This drug has antiviral activity, and has been shown to inhibit the replication of both influenza virus and human immunodeficiency virus.
