Produktinformation
Telmisartan related compound A is a chemical that has been shown to be an effective antihypertensive drug. Telmisartan related compound A is metabolized in the liver and provides pharmacological effects similar to those of telmisartan, which is a selective angiotensin II receptor antagonist. Telmisartan related compound A has shown to be safe for use in chronic oral administration, and it does not cause hepatic impairment or congestive heart failure. It also does not show interactions with other drugs taken by the patient. Telmisartan related compound A inhibits the activity of enzymes that are involved in lipid metabolism, such as 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A reductase, acetyl-CoA carboxylase, and fatty acid synthase. This inhibition leads to decreased synthesis of triglycerides and cholesterol in the liver, as well as increased levels of low density lipoprotein cholesterol.
