Beschreibung

Isofuranodiene is a chinese herb that has been used to treat infectious diseases, such as hepatitis and tuberculosis. It can be extracted from the root of the Chinese plant Furanodiene
Isofuranodiene has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro, such as MDA-MB-231 breast cancer cells. Treatment with Isofuranodiene also leads to a decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential and ATP levels, which may contribute to its anti-cancer effects. Isofuranodiene is chemically stable, but benzalkonium chloride can cause degradation. Isofuranodiene may have drug interactions with other drugs by inhibiting the activity of enzymes involved in metabolism. Isofuranodiene also has high resistance against bacteria and some types of breast cancer cells.
