Beschreibung

4-Epi-N-trifluoroacetyldaunorubicin is an analog of the anticancer drug daunorubicin that has shown potent antitumor activity in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. It is a kinase inhibitor that targets multiple kinases involved in cancer cell proliferation and survival. This drug has been shown to induce apoptosis in cancer cells by inhibiting protein synthesis and DNA replication. 4-Epi-N-trifluoroacetyldaunorubicin has also been found to be effective against tumors that are resistant to other chemotherapy drugs, making it a promising candidate for cancer treatment. In addition, this compound has been studied as a potential therapy for polycystic kidney disease, as it has been shown to reduce urine volume and improve renal function when used with the drug tolvaptan.
