• Beschreibung: A-802715 is a methylxanthine derivative with inhibitory effects on cyclase. It has been shown to inhibit the production of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and cytokines in vitro and in vivo. A-802715 has also been shown to have cytotoxic effects on tumour cells, as well as inhibit the production of nitric oxide and other inflammatory mediators. The drug was effective against tumours induced by phytohaemagglutinin or necrosis factor, but not against those induced by ischemia reperfusion or theophylline. Additionally, A-802715 inhibits the incorporation of radioactive caffeine into DNA in vitro at concentrations of 10 μM.
