Produktinformation
4-Fluoro-5-methyl-2-nitrophenol is an epimeric form of 2,4,6-trinitrophenol that is generated from nitration of 4-fluoroaniline. It has been shown to be a reactive intermediate that can form adducts with dichloromethane and acetonitrile. 4-Fluoro-5-methyl-2-nitrophenol has also been used as a photolysis substrate for the generation of nitrated aromatic compounds. The crystal structures of 4,6 dinitrobenzoquinone and 3,4 dinitrobenzoquinone were solved by X ray crystallography.
