Beschreibung

Toxaphene is a potent inhibitor of cell cycle progression and apoptosis in cancer cells. It has been shown to have anticancer properties in various human cancer cell lines, including breast, prostate, and lung cancers. Toxaphene can inhibit the activity of protein kinases involved in cell proliferation and survival, leading to decreased tumor growth. Additionally, it has been used medicinally as an inhibitor of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell line growth and urinary bladder tumors in rats. Toxaphene is a promising candidate for the development of novel anticancer drugs due to its potent inhibitory effects on cancer cell growth and proliferation.
