• Beschreibung: 2-Chlorotriethylamine hydrochloride is a model system for antimicrobial resistance. It inhibits the efflux pump, which is an important mechanism for the development of resistance to antimicrobials. The reaction products from 2-chlorotriethylamine hydrochloride are chloride and hydrogen ions, which can be detected by nanodots that change their optical properties in response to pH. The reactants of this compound are methyl esterification and fatty acid, which can be combined with sodium hydroxide solution to produce hydroxides. These compounds can also be used as monoclonal antibodies in a reaction that produces hydrogen fluoride gas.
