• Beschreibung: Napabucasin is a natural compound that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties. It has been used in vitro to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce cell death in both squamous carcinoma and bone cancer. Napabucasin also inhibits the proliferation of human ovarian cancer cells, which are resistant to cisplatin treatment, by inducing cell death. This drug may be a potential biomarker for platinum-resistant ovarian cancer as it accumulates in tumor tissue and inhibits the mitochondrial membrane potential. Napabucasin also showed anti-inflammatory properties against infectious diseases such as herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) and influenza virus type A (H1N1).
