Beschreibung:Tertatolol is a selective, non-specific inhibitor of cyclase. It has been used to study the role of cyclase in various aspects of the cardiovascular system and in infectious diseases. Tertatolol has also been found to reduce locomotor activity, glomerular filtration rate, and the toxicity of experimental models. In addition, it has been shown to be effective against inflammatory bowel disease. This drug binds to 2-adrenergic receptors with high affinity, inhibiting the binding of catecholamines and thereby decreasing the effects of noradrenaline on cardiac cells.
