Beschreibung:11-Hydroxyundecylphosphonic acid (11-HUP) is an organic acid that has been shown to activate epidermal growth factor and stimulate the growth of cells in culture. 11-HUP can be used as a coating for materials to prevent bacterial adhesion and biofilm formation, as well as for the immobilization of cells. It binds to collagen and forms a covalent bond with it, which can be used for wound healing applications. 11-HUP can also be used as a nanotube or monolayer photoelectron spectroscopy probe.
