Beschreibung:2,2-Difluoropropane-1,3-diamine-2hcl is a potent inhibitor of efflux pumps. This compound binds to the protein in the pump and prevents it from functioning properly. 2,2-Difluoropropane-1,3-diamine-2hcl is active against inhibitors that bind to the cytoplasmic side of the membrane and are transported out of the cell by means of an efflux pump. It has been shown to inhibit interactions with both hydrogen bond and covalent binding sites on proteins. 2,2-Difluoropropane-1,3-diamine-2hcl also inhibits permeability of cells to drugs that are normally transported by these pumps.
