• Beschreibung: 13-Cis-retinyl acetate (13-cRA) is a form of vitamin A that is used as a dietary supplement. It has been shown to inhibit cholesterol absorption, increase the rate constant for the conversion of vitamin A to retinol and increase the production of antitumor immunity. 13-Cis-retinyl acetate has been shown to have no effect on calcium levels, unlike other forms of vitamin A such as all trans retinoic acid. This product should not be taken in conjunction with alcohol or in low doses because it may cause visual disturbances. 13-Cis-retinyl acetate is available in aqueous solution or ethanolic solution. The use of this product should be discontinued if visual disturbances occur during treatment.
