Beschreibung

Bifluranolum is a solute compound that is an analog of the natural product bifluranol. It has been shown to have potent tyrosinase activity and its molecular structure suggests that it may be active against bowel disease. Bifluranolum has been shown to inhibit inflammatory bowel disease by blocking the production of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α through inhibiting their synthesis. The site specificity of bifluranolum allows for the prevention of inflammation in the intestines, while not causing damage to other tissues.
